The British Heart Foundation Ball is to be held in aid of the Heart of Derby Appeal on Friday 25^th September 2009, at Morley Hayes in Derbyshire.

The tickets are priced at £40.00 per person, or a table of eight can be purchased for just £250.00. This includes a champagne reception on arrival, a three course dinner and coffee, followed by a DJ and dancing until the early hours.

Charles Hanson of Hansons Auctioneers, well-known for his role as expert auctioneer and valuer on BBC’s ‘Bargain Hunt’ and ‘Flog It’, will host the auction and raffle.

The Heart of Derby Appeal aims to raise £107,000 to fund a new 3D echocardiograph machine with an additional toe probe for the cardiology department at Royal Derby Hospital – where nearly 50,000 heart patients are treated each year.

Sophie Jardine, Heart of Derby Appeal Manager, said: “Although we have passed the £10,000 mark, there is still a long way to go for us to reach the £107,000 target. We are a charity, and rely on fundraising events and donations to continue – I hope the people of Derbyshire continue to be as fantastically supportive, and come along for a great night out whilst raising much needed funds for the Appeal!
