With special events happening all around Christmas and New Year, there is something to please everyone. The Dovecote Restaurant has a fantastic Christmas luncheon menu, including favourites such as Roast Lamb and a Warm Pear Tart together with the traditional Roast Turkey and Christmas Pudding. You can dine for a two course lunch for £18.95 or a full three course lunch for £21.95 per person. A Christmas lunch would not be the same without a luxury Christmas cracker as well. For those looking to have a more fulfilling Christmas evening, the Dovecote Restaurant has a more encompassing dinner menu.

In our Pavilion Suite this Christmas we have our Yuletide ‘Young At Heart Sing-a-Long’. With a simple and traditional Christmas food served up with a luxury Christmas cracker and musical entertainment in the afternoon. Those guests who are willing to enjoy more of the evening, our specially decorated Roosters and Spike Bars.

For Christmas Eve, we have our special Carols by Candlelight Dinner. Start the festive celebration off with a glass of Mulled Wine upon arrival then feast on our selection of winter warmers with traditional winter vegetables. To make the evening even more special, we will include a luxury Christmas cracker and entertainment by a choir of carol singers.

Bring in the New Year in style at the Morley Hayes Dovecote Restaurant. A delightful three course meal in a celebration atmosphere, with a traditional Scottish Piper at Midnight to see in the New Year followed by a spectacular fireworks display over the golf course. Dinner is served from 7pm to 9.30pm with carriages at 2am. All this for £74.95.

Winter is nearly upon us and to make the colder days much brighter, our Roosters Restaurant has just started our new winter menu.

Set within our gorgeous parkland golf course in the heart of Derbyshire, the Roosters bar and restaurant is the ideal location to relax, have a drink, meet friends or treat the family for dinner. Serving a variety of traditional bar snacks and full meals, all of the home cooked food is fresh and served to perfection. Roosters Restaurant and Bar is open daily to everyone and children are welcome in the restaurant area.

Included in the new menu our traditional Roosters favourites, such as the Morley Hayes Special (never to be missed), as well as our range of starters and light bites, hot and cold sandwiches, seasonal salads, and classics from the main menu. New to this year’s winter menu is a tasty range of traditional puddings, including Hot Treacle Sponge with Custard, the always popular Bakewell Tart and Warm chocolate fondant pudding with a black cherry compote and a scoop of Bluebell Farm vanilla pod ice cream.
