Morley Hayes 2* AA Dovecote Restaurant, situated on the outskirts of Derby and Nottingham, is a successful restaurant looking to add to their professional and award winning team.

1 to 2 Rosette background preferred but not essential. The ideal candidates for these positions will have knowledge and understanding to cook great food, be motivated and passionate.

Full-time Grill Chef

Roosters Kitchen are looking to recruit an additional Grill Chef.  We are a busy restaurant offering a diverse and interesting menu using fresh, local ingredients.  We are seeking a Grill Chef with some previous experience in a similar role, who can work quickly and efficiently, whilst maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene required.  In return we offer - Salary according to experience.

Junior Sous Chef (£21,000-£24,000)

Junior Sous Chef is required to help manage the brigade of chefs in this busy restaurant serving homemade bar food daily from 12.00noon until 9.30pm. Experience in busy, good quality kitchens is essential.  Ideally suit someone looking for their first senior role or someone looking to move to a larger established  and professional restaurant. High quality homemade classic dishes are served with a daily specials board. Menu changes reflect the seasonal variations. Using fresh locally sourced ingredients is a key part of this cooking experience. Reliable track record and to be a team player is essential

Function Department

Part-time Function Supervisor 

This family run business is looking for person to join our functions team. They will take control of the food service of Dinners, Wedding Receptions and other events held in our function rooms. This work will be predominantly at weekends but there will be work in the week ensuring that Conferences are served to agreed standards as well as other weekday events.

This is a hands on role so previous experience in food service is essential and the ability to silver serve will be an advantage.
