Derby County Football club
Derby County Football club was founded in 1884 and is notable as being one of the twelve founder members of the Football League in 1888. It is therefore one of only eleven clubs to have appeared in every season of league football since its inception. Derby’s competitive history includes two spells as English League Champions, one FA Cup title and an appearance in the European Cup semi-finals. City of Derby
Derby has a great choice of attractions – most of which offer free admission making this an even greater value for money destination. The city’s rich heritage can be seen all around – from the magnificent Cathedral with imposing tower that can be seen for miles around, to artistic treasures at the Derby Museum and Art Gallery – home to the world’s largest collection of paintings by Derby’s 18th century master, Joseph Wright.
City of Nottingham
Nottingham is a great place to visit, with many attractions including Nottingham Castle and the famous Robin Hood statue, but there are lots of other things to see and do as well. Grab a coffee in the cosmopolitan Old Market Square and stroll up to the new Brian Clough statue or head out of the City Centre to Wollaton Hall – a magnificent Tudor house set in acres of beautiful park land.

Poole’s Cavern
Poole’s Cavern is a 2-million-year-old, natural limestone cave situated in the beautiful woodland of Buxton Country Park in Derbyshire and has been visited for 5,000 years since Neolithic tribes first used its chambers as shelter. The cave has been known as ‘The First Wonder of the Peak’ since the 1600s and recently celebrated its 150th anniversary as an official show cave and tourist attraction.
